The Talkabout Tasmania Roadshow is a biennial trade event visiting Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. The event updates travel sellers on Tasmanian tourism products and experiences through appointments with tourism operators. The event is packed with the latest information, as well as prize giveaways.
Who can attend?
Registered travel sellers and Inbound Tour Operators (ITOs) are welcome to attend. The Roadshow is not open to those teaching or studying tourism.
What's included in the Roadshow?
Attendees will meet with Exhibitors, receive a goodie bag and Tasmanian canapes and beverages will be on offer. Attendees will receive an Exhibitor passport on arrival that the Exhibitors will sign while meeting with you. All signed and completed passports go into the draw to win a prize package donated by the Exhibitors.

Is there parking available?
Is there security at the Roadshow?
The members of the Roadshow organising committee and Leishman Associates accept no liability for personal accident of loss or damage suffered by any participant, accompanying person, invited observer or any other person by whatever means. Nor do we accept liability for any equipment or software brought to the conference by delegates, speakers, sponsors or any other party. Please protect your personal property. Do not leave laptops, cameras, and other valuable items unsecured. Be conscious of individuals who appear out of place and do not wear a conference name badge. Advise Leishman Associates staff if this does not occur.
Will there be internet/Wi-Fi available at the venue?
Yes, there will be Wi-Fi at all venues.

Can I bring a colleague?
Yes, you may bring one or more colleague/s. Please indicate your colleague/s details during the application process.
Where do I register onsite?
The registration desk will be next to the entrance at each venue.
What time does the registration desk open?
Registration will open at 5pm at all venues except for Gold Coast. Registration will open at 7:30am at for Gold Coast.
What do I do if I have special dietary requirements?
You must advise the Roadshow managers of any special dietary requirements when you register for the Roadshow. Caterers at each function will be informed of these. During the day, there will be a buffet table offering food suitable for dietary requirements. If you are unsure, please don’t hesitate to ask staff at the registration desk.
IMPORTANT – If your dietary request relates to a life-threatening allergy, please ensure that you advise the event managers as soon as possible.

Held on alternate years to the Talkabout Tasmania Roadshow, Tourism Tasmania hosts qualified Tassie specialists on an exciting, all-inclusive two-day weekend at the Tassie Specialist conference in Hobart. What do I do if I need to cancel my registration?
Cancellations should be received in writing to Leishman Associates and will not be guaranteed until you have received confirmation from us. If you have not received acknowledgement within two business days, please contact our team on (03) 6234 7844. Substitutions are welcome.
